Canford Heath

The roads to the north of Ashdown close are all named after ancient Dorset Hundreds (an administrative area used up until about the middle of the 19Th century), Villages or Hamlets. Some such as Clayford Close are now very small, indeed Clayford is not much more than a farm slightly north of Uddens between wimborne and Ferndown. Some villages are now in either Devon or Somerset due to boundary changes over the years. There are several road names I have not found locations for so if anybody knows the original whereabouts of them please email me at ins@canfordheath.com, so that they can be added to the list; alternatively if you think any of the locations are wrong please also email me on the above address.
