This route is now part of Wimborne road from the George roundabout untill the New inn traffic lights.
you then take Darby's Lane until you reach the Dorset way which has cut the road in two, from the north side of the Dorset way the route takes Harwell Road, this then becomes Darby's Lane North as far as Longfleet Lodge; at this point the route becomes a footpath through the Canford heath housing estate until it reaches the heath itself. From here it crosses the heath and runs towards the tip where originally it joined the old coach road just before the bridge over Magna road.
